Absolute Gem of a place, everyone from the owner down work their tails off and are super friendly the Food is awesome and the prices are surprisingly low. So glad we found this place and it will be our Go To Must Visit place whenever we are in the area,wish we had a Melissa's in our state!! 5 stars all day long !!
Awesome daily specials with a large selection of side dishes. I especially liked the turnip greens and the broccoli salad. I wish I had asked for the broccoli salad recipe.
Just minutes outside Bowling Green, this is where the locals eat delicious, homemade food. We ate a late breakfast on a Saturday. Biscuits were fluffy. Home fries expertly seasoned. Tasty bacon! So much better than a corporate Cracker Barrel-like restaurant. We’ll be back!
Our favorite breakfast spot. The locals must agree because the parking lot is always full. Service is fast. Staff is kind and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We ordered bacon and cheese omelet. Side of biscuits and gravy. Daughter had grits. Everything was delicious.
My husband and I were visiting Bowling Green for work. Melissa's was close, so we decided to try it. We ended up eating there for lunch every day we were in town, getting the daily special each day. All of our servers were very nice and the service was extremely fast. The food was delicious every time. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
This is where the locals come to eat. I've only been around for breakfast, but it's been delicious every time. The staff are attentive, social, and quick. There have been a few times I've had to pass it by because of the parking lot being full, but that's how good the food is.. Try em at least once, and you'll have a new breakfast/lunch place on your GoTo List.
Nice diner, meat and 2 daily specials or order off menu. I had the catfish with a baked potato and coleslaw. The fish was cooked properly, was not mushy. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes here. Update: 11/25/2024. Had to come back and give the ribeye a try. Well worth the price. Service was excellent, steak was better without sauce. We'll be back again. 4/28/25. Had to give the fried chicken a try today. Was very good. Even though they are quite far away for me, I keep coming back for the good food and great service.
Definitely one of the best mom & pop type places around. Delicious home style food, daily specials, great prices!! You can call ahead & order to go, or dine in. Definitely worth trying! Breakfast & lunch are both amazing! Try out their French toast for breakfast or the chicken bacon ranch wrap for lunch! The fish is also extremely tasty!
